Journaling for Mental Health 101
The most important relationship you will ever have is with yourself; your mental health is arguably the most important part of that relationship. Journaling is a great tool for tracking and understanding your mental health.
In this workshop, we will go over techniques for building a journaling practice, how you can use journaling to support your work with your therapist or counselor, and why journaling is important when on medication.
You'll hear me talk about:
My personal mental health journey and what brought me to a journaling practice
The top three reasons you should have a journaling practice for your mental health, and how this tool can change your life. (I don't say that lightly!)
What my journaling practice looks like on a daily basis
Examples of what to journal and when (ways to get started)
Main takeaway: YOU need to become the expert on your own mental health; you are worthy and deserving of the time and effort it will take for you to become this.
